The first part of the book is historical and describes Shadow Puppets all over the world with a special chapter on the work of Lotte Reiniger. The second part is practical and covers the making of shadow puppets and some of the ways in which they are used. One of the appendices contains the words and music of the old shadow play 'The Broken Bridge'. Size: 4to.

Internally, firmly bound with Silhouettes by Raymond Lister being marginally more delicate, most notably to frontispiece and title page. Spotting mainly contained to first and last few pages of each text, leaving the majority very bright and clean. Again, Silhouettes by Raymond Lister suffers a little more. Very Good Indeed. book.
