Gilt lettering normally dulled, but legible. White manuscript lettering (Date) on tail of spine. Top edge gilt; fore-edge deckled. Front and rear gutters split with exposed binding mesh. Previous ownership signature, in blue ink, found on top edge of front end-page. Previous ownership blind stamps found sporadically throughout text-block on bottom corners: "Library of William S. Jackson." Normal toning throughout text-block; some off-setting around plates & illustrations. Binding intact. Please see photos. Blanche McManus (1869 1935) was an American writer and artist. She and her husband, Milburg Francisco Mansfield wrote a series of illustrated travel books, many of which included information about automobiles which were new at the time.
