Contact seller5-star sellerHardcover. Condition: AS IS. Second Edition. An heirloom copy of the standard Koine Greek Grammar, passed down through 4 generations of New Testament Greek instructors at the University of Chicago. In addition to his popular edition of 'Hellenistic Greek Texts' and numerous other publications, Wikgren was a member of the translation committee for the RSV. The ultimate owner, David J. Wilmot, was the heir apparent to this great line of Greek Scholars at the University of Chicago in the early 1980's, teaching Greek as a graduate instructor while working on his dissertation on the Copper Scroll. His promising career was tragically cut short by his sudden death in 1986. A well-worn copy with broken binding and a loose gathering, spine sunned, occasional penciling.…
