Original Wraps. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Jacket as issued. Elizabeth Friedlander (covers) (illustrator). 1st Edition. Finely printed at the Curwen Press with wrappers and borders designed by Elizabeth Friedlander. Neither of these points are credited but the house style speaks for itself, particularly in relation to the printer's flowers on the borders of the two rarely found price lists tipped in and loosely enclosed. Blumenthals commissioned other promotional material from Curwen in the 1950s. Friedlander's printed papers and borders were used by Curwen at this time and the design is 'Allegro' (1947). See Paucker 'New Borders: The Working Life of Elizabeth Friedlander' Incline Press 1998. Page 89. Slight foxing and wear otherwise a firm, clean copy.
