Interesting that Mr. Haskell chose to include several of the effects he marketed when he was involved in the Merv Taylor Company in the early 1950s along with other favorites.

Condition: Very good. First Edition. Complete set; 3 3/4 x 9; single sheet of green card stock, folded lengthwise; six "coins," illustrated with cartoonish dogs and two cards, all with small perforations along edges for easy removal; a few faint creases, else minor wear; in very good or better condition.An advertisement for Friskies dog food and most probably a free giveaway with purchases, the magic trick was designed by magician Robert "Bob" Haskell (1914 - 1972) and involved hidden coins appearing from under one card. Though Friskies was a brand name of the Carnation Company, the trick was copyrighted by the Albers Milling Company of Portland, Oregon (presumably as a distributor of Friskies).
Staple Bound. Condition: Very Good. Publishing date between 1965-1970. Previous owner's name label inside front cover. Book has very faint wear to some cover corners. Faint rubbing to front/back covers. Staple binding has slight rust. Otherwise, pages are clean and crisp. Binding is strong. No other major wear or markings.
