Georgia Gibbs (1919-2006) was one of America's most successful pop vocalists of the 1950s. Known for her versatility across jazz, pop, Latin, and novelty material, she scored numerous chart hits including 'Dance With Me Henry,' 'Kiss of Fire,' and 'Tweedlee Dee.' Her recordings helped define the popular vocal sound of the decade.
