Weltkrieg das 1911 von Wilhelm Ostwald zusammen mit Karl Wilhelm Bührer und Adolf Saager gegründete Internationale Institut zur Organisierung der geistigen Arbeit "Brücke" zu reaktiv…ieren. Bobe, der von sich schrieb "ich habe die hohe Ehre gemeingefährlich geisteskrank erklärt zu sein" (MERZ Bd. 2 Nr. 7, 1924), stand mit den Berliner Oberdadas Johannes Baader und Kurt Schwitters in Kontakt. Aufruf an die Deutschen Staatsbürger, ihm bei der Beseitigung des preussischen Militarismus durch Gedankensprengung behilflich zu sein. "Die Erkenntnis der Natur - der grosse Weltengott - verleiht mir Kraft ebenso wie einst Moses, Buddha, Jesus, Mohammed, Luther und wie die Reformatoren alle geheissen haben, die Menschheit von Hass und Neid sowie dem Kriegselend zu befreien und ihr Friede nebst Eintracht im irdischen Paradies zu bringen." Darauf wurde folgende Ergänzung nötig, da sich seine Mutter besorgt über den Gesundheitszustand ihres Sohnes gezeigt hatte. Wilhelm Ostwald und seine Mitstreiter werden heute zu den Vordenkern des digitalen Zeitalters gerechnet. Ostwalds "Brücke" stand in keinem Zusammenhang mit der gleichnamigen Künstlervereinigung. Betrachtung der Lebensbedingungen, Statistik, Güter- und Geldbewegungen. - Es waren insgesamt 10 Blätter geplant, in Bibliotheken nachweisbar sind jedoch nur die ersten drei. - Carl Bobe bezeichnete sich selbst Friedenspionier, Kulturpionier, Weltorganisator, Weltordnungsdiktator. Schon früh befasste er sich mit dem Thema der Optimierung von Produktionsprozessen. Während des ersten Weltkriegs wurde er aufgrund seiner pazifistischen Gesinnung in Haft genommen. Er stand in Kontakt zu Berliner DADA-Kreisen, und die Zeitschrift MERZ zitiert ihn mit den Worten "Ich habe die hohe Ehre gemeingefährlich geisteskrank erklärt zu sein" (MERZ Bd. 2 Nr. 7, 1924. Seite 68). Wie die vorliegenden Dokumente zeigen, sympathisierte er anfangs mit den Nationalsozialisten. Seine an die nationalsozialistischen Führer gerichteten programmatischen Flugschriften standen unter dem Motto einer geistigen Mobilmachung, eines gundlegenden Pazifismus, versehen mit einem Stempel "Deutsches Friedens-Ministerium Friedenstadt" und mit der Grußformel "friedensamtlich". Sie stießen bei den Adressaten offenbar auf taube Ohren. - Beigegeben: eine Dichtung von Carl Bobe "Erhebend die dreijährige Erinnerungsfeier im Lipperland", einseitiges Typoskriptblatt mit Bleistiftkorrekturen. Friedensstadt Lippe am 15. Januar 1936. - Außerdem: ein 4-seitiges Werbefaltblatt für "Die weiße Fahne. Zeitblätter für Verinnerlichung und Vergeistigung. Monatsschrift für Heil- und Lebenserneuerung" mit Stempel Carl Bobe Oerlinghausen; es enthält einen Appell "Der Führer - Dein Vorbild" (1933).
