Pagg 361, formato cm 11,5 x 18,0. Bojardo, conte di Scandiano, poeta, cortigiano amico di Ercole d'Este. Al suo capolavoro, l'Orlando innamorato, mise mano nel 1476; nel 1483 pubblicò i 2 primi libri (60 canti); poi, per le varie incombenze e le condizioni di salute, procedette assai a rilento, e interruppe il lavoro alla ottava 25a del IX canto del 3º libro. La grandezza del B. è di aver creato, in un mondo di bella fiaba cavalleresca, una folla di personaggi vivi e umani, ciascuno operante nelle situazioni atte a esprimere il proprio carattere. Mancò all'Innamorato quel lavoro di rifinitura, che fece del Furioso di Ludovico Ariosto un capolavoro. Il prezzo del libro è comprensivo delle spese di confezionamento e spedizione mediante raccomandata tracciabile.
