["Boldsen., var en dansk sagfĝrer og grundlĉgger af KAB, der spillede en vĉsentlig rolle i boligsagen omkring 1. verdenskrig.,.I 1920 grundlagde Boldsen KAB Kĝbenhavns Almindelige Boligselskab, som han var direktĝr for indtil 1945. Han skabte Studiebyen et villa- og rĉkkehuskvarter med arbejderboliger i Hellerup. Studiebyen er i dag kendt som et attraktivt sted, hvor datidens bedste arkitekter boltrede sig med en mangfoldighed af hustyper som resultat. Boldsen hĝrte til en kreds af velstillede borgere, som ville hjĉlpe arbejderne til anstĉndige og tidssvarende boligforhold. Boldsen var ikke en del af arbejderbevĉgelsen, men han var optaget af at skaffe arbejderen et hus med have i forlĉngelse af lĉgerne Emil Hornemanns og F.F. Ulriks indsats med Arbejdernes Byggeforening, stiftet 1865. Derved afveg hans ambition fra AAB Arbejdernes Andels-Boligforenings leder Jens Christian Jensen, der fra 1912 og frem primĉrt opfĝrte lejlighedskomplekser. Jensen sċ borgerskabets forsĝg pċ at give den mest velstillede del af arbejderklassen en parcel med hus og have som et forsĝg pċ at borgerliggĝre arbejderklassen. Problemet var, at bċde Arbejdernes Byggeforenings og KABs model betĝd, at arbejderen kom til enten at eje sit hus eller tjene en lille formue i sidste ende.
