Soft cover. 1st Edition. First Edition. Sextodecimo, original illustrated wrappers, engraving at front wrap, title page, and last page of text, 64 pages. Very scarce collection of temperance poetry. WorldCat lists five library holdings. "T. D. Bonner, who in 1844 established a weekly paper called the "Cataract", which he ran for two years, was without a doubt the most violent ink-slinger the county ever knew. HIs office was finally mobbed by those opposed to his manner of temerance agitation, and his press and types thrown into Silver Lake." Very Good in wrappers.
