Playing together since the 1960s in various Merseyside bands, this exceptional group of musicians have played on the same stage as many of the famous bands from Liverpool, England, including The Beatles, Swinging Blue Jeans, The Merseybeats, and numerous others. In 1980 the band changed their name to The Bootles and concentrated on playing Beatles' songs. They again toured Europe, appearing in their own one-hour television spectacular in Bulgaria and selling over 300,000 LPs.
