The population structure and life cycle of A. grayana are described, based on size frequency-distribution histograms of samples from a salt-marsh along the Western Scheldt estuary. Generations of previous years could be distinguished until June; later on they merged to form one inseparable group. Highest numbers were found in winter. Numbers decreased at the end of the winter, mainly due to mortality, and in spring, mainly due to migration. First representatives of the new generation were found in July. In Oct. the main part of the population consisted of this new generation. At least part of the individuals may live for two years. 6 pp., 3 figs, gr. 8.

Hardcover, 64 pages, 24 x 16 cm. met prachtige illustraties. ISBN 9789491819315. Hoe ik terugdenk aan mijn huis? Ik weet niet of ik het wil. Het huis is een zwart schilderij dat precies in mijn hoofd past. Ik zie het voor mijn ogen. De omlijsting van het schilderij is zwart. Het doek is zwart. De hete adem van het vuur heeft zwarte blaasjes op het doek geschilderd. Zeg me Kaatje, ben ik het schilderij? Mijn huis was is het aangrijpende verhaal over het verbrande geheugen van Kaatjes oma ? of is het een verhaal over het verbrande huis van de oma van Kaatje? Paul de Moor schreef een relaas van afnemend geheugen bij foto?s van Karin Borghouts. Leen Depooter gaf vorm aan woord en beeld. Karin Borghouts is fotokunstenares en nam deel aan meer dan 50 tentoonstellingen in binnen- en buitenland. Eerder verscheen van haar onder andere Through the Looking Glass en de kunstenaarsuitgave The house (of my childhood burned down and I went in to take pictures) 0 g.
