The Division Signals unit of the New Zealand Division in WWII is the subject in this title in the numerous official histories published post-war. Divisional commander, General Lord Freyberg, noted in his foreward that Div Sigs was the first of its formations to see active service, in the Western Desert in December 1940. Subsequent campaigning saw it in Greece, Crete, the Desert again, Tunisia, then Italy to the end of hostilities, This fine volume follows the Signals from initial training in NZ to repatriation. 540 pages including honours and awards, roll of honour, commanding officers and index, 67 b/w photos, seven folded maps with colour tonings, 11 intext diagrams. Red hard covers with gilt spine titles VG+, FEEP neatly removed leaving front board slightly loose, otherwise internally excellent.
