Spiral. Condition: Very Good. Stiff color pictorial paper wrapper bound on quarter inch red plastic comb binding 4.75 x 9.25 with thumb index tabs for Cold Finish, Mild Bars, Staples, Plates, Sheets, Alloys, Stainless, Tool Steel, and Data. Each tab has on the front the section index, as a manufacturer sales catalog the sections are tables listing products weight, size and price. The back of each tab has a full page BW photo of the Oakland plant. Though undated 1947 seems to be a reasonable date. Light general wear mostly visible on the back cover which has one corner crease, smudges, sun fades. The head of the spine has just a hint of chipping. Edges overall have minimal wear although the wraps have discoloration from sun fading especially along the spine and edges and on the inverse. This is a collectible copy of a nice specimen of Americana both in terms of publishing genre (Illustrated Trade Catalog ) and subject material (history of the post-war Industrial Age) which is very hard to come by. HIgate 4-1887 is the telephone number. 72 pages. No inferior offers SVP. Book.
