Gebonden in half leer, 44 pag. Derde editie van de geruchtmakende preek die Jacobus Borstius (1612-1680) in 1645 te Dordrecht hield en die in hetzelfde jaar werd gedrukt als 'Predicatie van 't lang hair'. Een tweede editie verscheen in 1649. Aanleiding tot deze preek was waarschijnlijk het in 1644 verschenen boekje van M.Z. Boxh…orn "Spiegeltjen vertoonende 't lanck hayr ende heyrlocken, bij de oude Hollanders ende Zeelanders gedragen". Hierbij: de heruitgave uit 1973 van De Roos te Utrecht, met naschrift van M.M. Toth-Ubbens "Kaalkop of ruighoofd".
