Lit.: NNBW IV, 233 Landwehr 70 (alleen deel I) Bernardus de Bosch (Amsterdam 1709 - Amsterdam 1786) was makelaar in kunstwerken van beroep, maar de dichtkunst had zijn grootste belangstelling. Zijn leven lang heeft hij gedichten geschreven, letterkundigen in zijn huis verzameld en jonge talenten als Bilderdijk. Feith, Helmers en Nieuwland geadviseerd. De Bosch heeft meegewerkt aan een tweetal dichtprojecten: de vertaling van de fabels van de Duitse schrijver Gellert en een nieuwe berijming van de psalmen, ter vervanging van de verouderde 16e-eeuwse van Datheen. Bijna alle platen en vignetten in de 'Dichtlievende verlustigingen', ook de 14 gravures bij de emblematische 'Tafereelen', zijn ontworpen door zijn broer Joannes. In 1788 zou nog een vierde deel verschijnen; in 1758 verscheen van deel I een titeluitgave (Landwehr 71).…
