Condition: Buono (Good). 0. 2 parti in 1 volume in-4° (mm 255x200), pagine XXXXVIII+ carte [4], pagine 116 + carte [3], pagine LXX + carte [8], con 12 grandi piante inc. e 1 tabella, più volte ripieg. Legatura in pieno vitello bruno marmorizzato coevo. Bolli di antica appart. al front. Dorso rifatto e piccolo rest. alla tav. II, altrimenti bellissimo esemplare. Rara e bella edizione, sconosciuta a molti repertori bibliografici da noi consultati. Lo stesso Barbier, da cui abbiamo tratto la fonte del nome dell'autore, cita una edizione dello stesso anno, ma stampata a "Cologne, Vve Metternich", senza tavole. Book.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Natural vellum over boards. Gold tile on the spine "Bourscheid." Coat of arms in gold on the front cover. Binding good and tight and attractive. Title page has two rubberstamps with coats of arms on them. Both are crossed out. The first is "Bibliothek des K.S. Artillerie-Corps" and the other is Militar-Bibliothek ze Dresden". 426 pages + index. Pages clean. Printed entirely in German. Title is longer than I have managed to transcribe above, but the blackletter font and the German language are more than google-translate and I can work through. 6 large folding maps at the rear including one of the United States as it was in 1782 by Bonne (also showing the west coast and several California towns). Another map seems to show a Northwest Passage above Baffin's Bay over the North American Continent, on a map with heavily distorted proportions. Printed bookplate on the inside front cover with more than 25 lines of blackletter in German, seems to say that it's from the library of a Military Academy. Handwritten notes on inside front cover with shelf and bookcase location of the book. Please email with questions (or answers) or to request photos.

Cologne, chez la Veuve Metternich, 1780, 1780, volumi 2 legati in 1, in-4, legatura coeva in mezza pelle (spellature ed erosioni al dorso), pp. (2), XXXXVIII, (4), 116, (4) - (2), LXX, (16). Vignetta al frontespizio, alcuni fregi, 10 (su 12) grandi tavole ripiegate incise in rame da Croisey e una tabella ripiegata. Mancano le tavole n. 2 e 4.
