Laid in at the rear is an unpaged stapled booklet which includes 19 additional poems, several of which have been corrected presumably by the author. Also laid in are two more typed poems presumably by the author. Blue cloth over black leather spine with gilt letters on the spine. Jacket design by Cheryl E. Sanford. No noticeable wear to extremities, cloth clean and bright, gilt bright (!), else fine with no internal markings. Dust jacket spine very slightly faded, small tear to rear panel with nothing missing, else very good and not price-clipped. Hazel Bowers (Mrs. Emerson Bowers) was born in San Diego. She studied poetry in Columbia University under Leonora Speyer and at New York University under Louise Bogan. For twelve years she was Poetry Editor of The Villager.
