Sie studierte bei Rubini in St. Petersburg und debütierte 1833 als Solo-Sopranistin am Stadttheater in Reval. Schuselka-Brüning trat an den Opernhäuser in Königsberg (1835), Danzig (1837), Hamburg (1838) und Hannover auf, gastierte 1842 am Theater am Kärntnertor und trat am Theater in der Josefstadt, am Theater an der Wien und am Theater in der Leopoldstadt auf. 1853 kam sie an das Hoftheater in Dresden und wandte sich zunehmend der Schauspielerei zu. S.-B. leitete 1855-57 das Landestheater Linz, 1862-65 ein von ihr gegründetes deutsches Theater in Paris und nahm 1867 Abschied von der Bühne.
