Regarding this particular volume, the images and personalities correspond to the 11th volume of the 12-volume set, but the title page is different, with a different date. The title page and publisher's imprint are on a thin overwrap. 12 pages plus thin paper wrap; 31 silver gelatin prints tipped in; 11 x 8 inches. Text in French. Very Good with a touch of tanning, a touch of soiling, and a small tear to the outer wraps; a bit of glue on one photo has stuck to the one opposite, leaving a bit of paper; otherwise all the photos are Very Good to Fine, some with a touch of rubbing.
