An extensively illustrated issue of the historic American magazine devoted to outstanding architecture, interior decoration, furnishings and landscaping. It presents residences and decorative projects from California, particularly Los Angeles, Beverly Hills and West Los Angeles,… with large-format photographs, descriptions of interiors, furniture, lighting, textiles and garden design. The issue documents refined domestic architecture and interior decoration of the 1930s and includes numerous period advertisements for decorative fabrics, furniture and architectural products. Fair, complete-looking copy with a sound and usable interior. The covers show considerable rubbing, surface wear, small losses, creasing and fraying along the edges and corners. The spine covering is worn, with losses at the ends, and the rear cover has abrasions and small tears. Some pages show light foxing, handling marks and occasional marginal wear, but the photographs and printed contents remain generally clean and well preserved. Former bookseller's or owner's ink stamp on the front cover: "J. Torra, Cabras, 7, 4.º, Barcelona".
