Over 200 illustrations, complete equipment roster, 15 scale plans for the modeler and 15 maps and yard layouts, illustrated end-papers. Includes five appendices, bibliography and index. Dickinson died before he finished this book, Ted Wurm and Alvin C. Graves (authors of "Crookedest Railroad in the World") edited Dickinson's material (and added new material).
