Rilegato. Condition: mediocre. prima edizione. RARISSIMA PRIMA EDIZIONE ITALIANA DEL CELEBRE LIBRO PUBBLICATO IN INGHILTERRA DAL DOTTOR E.C. BREWER. LA SECONDA EDIZIONE VENNE PUBBLICATA SUCCESSIVAMENTE, BASANDOSI SULLA TERZA EDIZIONE FRANCESE TRADOTTA DALL'ABATE MOIGNO NEL 1858. LEGATURA COEVA IN TUTTA PERGAMENA, VOLUME IN 16°, pp.488. IL VOLUME CONSISTE IN 2152 DOMANDE ( E RELATIVE RISPOSTE ) RELATIVE AI "FENOMENI FISICI COMUNI DELLA VITA" . Ebenezer Cobham Brewer (2 maggio 1810 a Norwich - 6 marzo 1897 a Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire), è stato un lessicografo britannico e autore, tra gli altri, di A Guide to the Scientific Knowledge of Things Familiar, Brewer's Dictionary of Phrase and Fable e The Reader's Handbook.
