Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. David Hockney (illustrator). 1st Edition. Small folio. Bound in light blue cloth with white lettering on the spine. Dust wrapper. This is the French edition of Hockney Posters with 128 pages of full colour and text followed by a complete list of posters with titles, publishers, dates and sizes of 128 posters, each one illustrated. Purchased at auction some years ago, this is from Brian Baggott s personal collection and is inscribed to him by David Hockney Pour moi ami Brian amour david H . (Brian was a close friend who also wrote a book on Hockney) Also loosely inserted is a high quality reproduction of a drawing by Hockney printed on good quality paper, from the same date as the book's publication. The David Hockney Foundation has kindly helped me in regards to the photocopy. They state that it is a detail from a photograph of a larger work: The sitter is Albert Calrk (b.1969), son of Celia Birtwell 9B.1941) and Ossie Clark (1942-1996). Dust wrapper, very light wear, now protected, the photocopy does have some old light handling folds, otherwise a very good copy. Size 36 x 27cm (14.25 x 10.5 inches).
