Ha studiato all'Università di Newcastle, dipartimento di belle arti, King's College, dal 1955 al 1961, poi dal 1962 al 1964 è stato docente di pittura. Nel 1965 è andato alla Chelsea School of Art per tenere lezioni di scultura. Ha esposto Young Contemporaries, LG, in Sculpture Today and Tomorrow alla Bear Lane Gallery di Oxford, in Twenty-Six Sculptors all'ICA e ha avuto diverse mostre personali al New Art Centre. L'Arts Council espone Relief Construction, 1960, e Relief Painting, 1964, e anche la Tate Gallery e la Leeds City Art Gallery espongono le sue opere. Book.
