The personal account of Sapper Walter Brindle of the Canadian Railway Construction Corps, where he was placed due to not being able to pass the physical for the Infantry, in which his three sons already were serving. The CRCC sailed from Saint John two days after the famed 26th Battalion. Several full-page photos with imprinted tissue guard, including the visit of the Prince of Wales to Saint John, August 15, 1919. 84 pp. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Ex-Library.
