Condition: Buono (Good). 0. Cm. 16, pp. (52) 800 (204). Frontespizio in rosso e nero, testo latino e greco. Bella legatura coeva in piena pergamena rigida con titoli ms. al dorso; tagli rossi. Ottimo esemplare. Barnabè Brisson (1531-1591), giurista e diplomatico francese, fu tra i principali esponenti della scuola culta, protesta alla storicizzazione del diritto romano, visto come exemplum nell'ottica dello sviluppo di un vero e proprio diritto nazionale. Quest'importante opera è dedicata al sistema istituzionale e alle consuetudini dell'antica Persia: "Quo, de regisa majestate, totoque persici regni statu, agitur", "Quo, de religionem legibus, moribus, institutisque persarum tractatur", "De re militari".
