    Elogios Historicos dos Senohres Reis de Portugal, Escritos pro Fr. Bernardo de Brito. Published in Lisbon by Rollandiana. 1825. 159 pp. 6" x 3.75". Hardcover. In fair condition, with losses to bottom of rear board and heel of spine. Cracking and splits to hignes. Text block as a whole remains bound well. Inscriptions, stamp and markings to title page. Bookworm bore holes present throughout some pages. Light staining remnants. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce piece on Portuguese royal history by Bernardo de Brito (1569-1617), a Portuguese monk and historian best known for writing the first two volumes of Monarchia Lusytana. Revised edition.
