This is copy number 493. The book was designed and produced under the direction of Robert H. Clark. 187 pages, including an index and a bibliography. Much of the controversy surrounding the battle of the Little Big Horn has its foundation in the fact that there were no white survivors. There were, however, hundreds of Indian survivors, some of whom preserved their recollections of the battle in pictographic drawings.
