Moore and published in London by Macmillan & Co. Ltd. for the Mind Association. First printing of this individual quarterly issue, retaining its original printed paper wrappers. An ex-library copy formerly belonging to St. Deiniol's Library, Hawarden, Flintshire, subsequently renamed Gladstone's Library. The wrappers exhibit substantial age-related wear, surface soiling, rubbing, creasing and losses along the edges, particularly at the lower extremities. Institutional stamps include a cancellation marking from St. Deiniol's Library. The printed contents examined remain legible. The library provenance and physical deterioration are reflected in the condition grading. Published during the closing months of the Second World War, this issue contains several contributions of historical interest to twentieth-century philosophy, particularly concerning the emergence of analytic metaphysics and the continuing controversies surrounding philosophical analysis. …

Dust jacket is wrapped in a mylar cover, price uncut "16s. net", has tears and mild creasing to edges, light stains, and age toning throughout. Boards have fading to spine and edges, rubbing wear, and bumping to spine ends and fore corners. Textblock has pencil marks to the rear pastedown, stains to edges, and mild wear.
