There is some fading to the spine, rubbing to the corners of the boards and a little surface wear but the boards are otherwise unmarked. Browning to the page edges with a little dark marking to the bottom corners. The front free endpaper has the name of the original owner and his first College - this was Jimmy Altham, a Life Fellow of Gonville & Caius College, and a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Cambridge. There is a crease across the bottom corners of the pages at the back of the book but the pages are otherwise unmarked. No jacket. First printing. Heavy item so there will be an additional postage charge for overseas orders.

Self-titled wrappers, staples rusty and a couple of leaves coming loose, the rear wrapper carries a note in ink : 'Omitted in error. Miss J. Dawes, Trevadlock. God will stand by the man who boldly stands by God's command, will give him energy and courage now, & afterwards success. Dr. Marsh. The Rev. H. T. Hooper's portrait should have been in, but was blurred in printing.' A good copy. *Issued as a Centenary memento in order to raise money for the Renovation Fund. COPAC does not record a copy.
