Numerous fascinating 1940s-vintage local advertisements throughout. Numerous b&w photographs & illustrations throughout. Includes accommodation, introduction, outlets, reservation forms (blue perforated forms), mileage chart, plus touring articles. No date (apparently 1946, with the introduction noting the first edition was published in 1896 & this copy is the 50th year of issue; ink note on first page states "published during 1930s", however it appears to be 1946). With original published price printed on front cover "3 shillings and sixpence". NOTE: A GOOD COPY ONLY. Much handing wear, lacks colour map (as noted), spine pulling away from book block, spine with wear & tears, light marginal staining, otherwise a clean solid softcover copy. 352pp. RARE. SB-37.
