Signed insription by Scruton on front prelim, followed by Birthplace of Charlotte Bronte each page has been cut (from original?) to borderd text and illustrations and laid onto single sided pages, plus 2 more recent, late1890s early 1900, photographs from newspaper clippings on rear of 2 pages. Pagination 58. This is then followed by The Cottage in the Wood. A reprint from the Second Edition, 1859. Again the pages have been trimmed, but they have been laid onto a page with a window cut out so text can be read from each side. Pagination 16. Photographs available.
