Very good, appears as new unopened and unread, clean tight sound square, no bookplate, inscriptions or marks of any kind, well held in joints and hinges, clean crisp corners and edges. Bound in bright gilt lettered and illustrated Morocco leather over magenta boards, great shelf presence with gilt and magenta geometric illustration on gently rubbed black Morocco leather, top edge publisher's black to match. Housed and protected in such great condition in original grey slipcase gently dusted. Emily Bronte's classic tale of love, obsession, class and race, recently again adapted into a hit film.
