No date on the title page, but Brower has noted 1994, 3rd printing 95. Copyright page dated 1995. 228 pages. Illustrated throughout. This copy with a very nice inscription on the half title, 'For Lincoln Brower, with many thanks and best wishes, Bert Holldobler. 1994. Brower himself has made some notes, mostly a list on the title page noting how many lines/words per page, and an unlabeled chart. On page 25, the authors make reference to their Pulitzer Prize winning book Ants, Brower has underlined and written in the margin 'Note: NOT a popular book.'
