Brown simulated leather titled in green; 4to; 520pp; illustrated with pictorial endsheets, color frontispiece after paintings plus b/w photos; color photographic dust jacket. "This volume is destined to be the very backbone of the library of every bird dog enthusiast, a landmark in American outdoor literature and a vital reference." (dj blurb). This copy lightly spotted on edges of text block but internally bright & clean; light fading to spine titles but still legible. The uncommon dust jacket is in good shape with some edge wear & chipping. Publisher's original printed price of $12.50 on front flap. Original "reservation certificate" still intact before half title page. A decent copy.
