Carbon Draft script for the 1961 film. Housed in a custom cloth clamshell box. From the Richard Manney collection of film noir. Gangster biography with noir elements, based on Harry Grey's 1958 novel, a paperback original. Dutch Schultz (Morrow) is a mobster at the top of his game in the 1920s. He kills a man, romances the man's daughter (Parrish), and turns a good cop bad. Red titled wrappers, dated 9/24/59, with a credit for screenwriter Browne. Title page present, identical to front wrapper. 126 leaves, with last page of text numbered 125. Carbon typescript on onionskin stock.
