Interior has previous owner's bookplate to the paste down and 2 owner names to the free-endpaper. Bottom of endpaper and title page are torn about 3 inches up, and a handful of other pages with shorter tears or small chunks missing at the margins. Text pages are unmarked and the binding and hinges are solid. 151 pp., some illustrations by Eugenie M. Wireman, word review list and adverts at rear.

Externally, bending to the corner tips and spine ends, heavy soiling to the cloth of front and rear covers - darkened. Interior has previous owner's name to the free-endpaper and a series of pencil and pen lines across the front endpapers. Bottom of endpaper is torn about an inch up, the title page has 2 pieces of tap holding a tear shut toward the binding, and 2 other pages have been taped back together. Many other pages have shorter tears or small chips missing at the margins.
