The 7.5 by 10 inch softcover catalog is 28 pages and in good condition. The tan cover has rubbing in addition to library stamps from the Franklin Institute and a call number. It is wrapped in brown paper, glued at the spine. The inside pages are clean, and without markings. The catalog outlines the various parts of the machine and its use and output with photographs of the various stages throughout.

Photograph of research laboratory at rear cover. Printed on thick, slick paper with black and white illustrations, diagrams, tables and graphs throughout. A thoroughly descriptive catalog on the Haigh Alternating Stress Testing Machine designed to test the stress capacity of metals and metal structures. Includes an explanation of the design of this machine and instructions for operating it. Includes "Typcial Results Obtained on Samples" and a page of "Details of Equipment" as well. List of laboratories using the Haigh ALternating Stress Testing Machine glued to the inside of the front cover. "Reference," "Catalogue Library" and "JUN 3 1926" stamps along the upper edge of the front cover. Catalog number in black ink at the top right corner of the front cover as well. Both covers have discolored with age. Apart from some light smudging to page margins, the pages are clean and free of writing. Binding is tight and strong, with no loose pages.
