A litle pink spot on the fore-edge of the rear endpaper, otherwise book is crisp and tight, corners sharp, no markings. DJ is a little rubbed, otherwise very nice, no tears, chips or creases. The author began working with the music of the Basques in Idaho, as material for her Masters Degree. This book emphasizes music and the arts among the Basque people, but is full of stories about individuals and families, mainly in the West of the US. Wonderful photos, recipes, words and music to songs, fairs, sports, folk festivals, a chapter on the Basque studies program at the University of Nevada in Reno, et al.
