His works are held in the collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, The Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the State Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow, among others.

Scanditi con ritmo e respiro quasi poematico, scevri di qualsivoglia romanticismo e, anzi, garbatamente ironici, i pezzi intimi di questo catalogo di accadimenti suggestivamente "imperfetti" mostrano come si possa essere autobiografici con tutta la grazia di chi "semplicemente" racconta senza esibirsi, balzando in primo piano ma, al contempo, rimanendo deliziosamente sottotraccia.
