1st Printing. Loose leaf. Decorative lettering to head of recto. 14-3/8" x 10-3/4" The Palace Hotel Brussels was built by Adhémar Lener (with his assistant Antoine Pompe) in 1908-09. It opened in 1910 for the World's Fair. It is an Art Nouveau styled building that still stands today as the Crown Palace hotel. A VG copy. Piece missing from head of menu, two horizontal creases (due to being folded), couple small tears at the edges (where was folded), corners rubbed and bumbed, edges a bit rubbed, some soiling and age toning, light foxing to verso. Overall bright and legible! White, card stock, printed in dark green, menu items typed in blue ink, now housed in a mylar sleeve.

Condition: Good. Folio. 4 pp. Menu for Brussels Restaurant at 111 East 56th Street, New York with lithograph of L'Hotel de Ville, Bruxelles on cover by J. Stassinet. From the collection of Yvan (Yvonne) Nopert (1927-2014), founder of L'Escargot restaurant in Carmel where Elizabeth Taylor and Clint Eastwood were customers. Good+, creased along middle from folding, closed tears repaired with clear tape on both front and rear cover. Liquid staining and some soiling along the edges, inside and on the rear cover. Few small ink markings inside.
