Der Verfasser dieses tierärztlichen Fachbuches, Anton Buchmüller (1782-1850) war ein Wiener Veterinärmediziner, der einige Fachbücher für Tierärzte verfasste. Außerdem war er mehrere Jahre an der Lemberger Universität als Professor für Tierarzneikunde tätig.
