Corners and spine caps have a soft touch of wear. All edges are clean. Inscribed by the author to a long time friend on the front free endpaper. Otherwise, pages are clean, tight and unmarked. The price-clipped dust jacket is in good condition with scratches, rippling on the front panel, .5" closed tear on the back panel, tear and chipping on the top of the spine panel and top corners. A string is taped to the front flap. The author was the executive sports edition and long time columnist for the Bangor Daily News. Profusely illustrated with photographs in black and white. Includes a photograph of President Eisenhower and other fishing companions of the author.
