Three Quarter Morocco Leather. Condition: Very Good. The "Verdi" Edition. The "Verdi" Edition is strictly limited to fifty copies, and numbered in Roman numerals. This is copy no. XLV (#45 of 50). Three-quarter (3/4th) tan morocco leather binding with flower patterned silk covered boards, leather has gilt dentelles, all edges gi…lt, endsheet behind front board is a silver flowery silk. The other endsheet is a linen backed thick stock paper. Numerous in-text mezzo and sepia tinted illustration with 5 full page tipped on plates. Part 7 of a 10 part set. Pages 315-363. Light edge wear with the full page plate paper slightly age-toned at edges. Heavy rubbing at top end at the silk. Else in VERY GOOD PLUS condition. Size: Elephant Folio - over 15" - 23" tall. Hardcover.
