Black paper-covered boards , lettered in red to front, and pictorial dustjacket, in cardboard slip case with same design as dustjacket. 168pp. folio, 31 x 24.5 cm. With colour reproductions of artworks throughout, one per p…age in the main section, and within the introductory essays. Contemporary artists from round the world who feature calligraphy and lettering in their work. Introductory essays by Carlo Buffa, Thomas Ingmire (one of the artists featured), Tiziano Santi and Manfredo Massironi. Very nicely printed on Boldonia and Savile Row cream paper. This copy belonged to a British calligrapher who has inscribed his name and place in a fine hand on the front free endpaper. Fine book in Very Good jacket, which has very light rubbing to the edges, in similarly lightly rubbed slipcase. Pictures available.
