Condition: Near fine. Trade card, unused, n. d. (ca 1885); 5 1/4 x 3; off-white stock with text and image lithographed to verso; two very tiny spots to lower margin, else very minor wear - in near fine condition.A beautiful trade card, it featured the Washington Monument, the stone structure of which had just been completed in 1884, and accompanying facts about the landmark, including height, cost, wights, etc. The card also contained along its margins miniature images of 16 other remarkable structures from around the world, with relevant facts about them, to be compared to the Washington Monument centerpiece.
