Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Previous owner name on the front free endpaper. Dark green, pebbled leatherette covers with gilt lettering to the spine and front cover. 217 pages with illustrations by the author. Fictional tale of adventure in which the narrator discovers in 1907 Alaska an old diary kept by a Russian adventurer who traveled the world. Fifteen sketches are salvaged from the decaying book and presented with illustrations for this tale.
