1864 (nd, circa) London, 336pp, leopard drawing on title page. It would appear that this book was originally published for the St. Hubert's club and subsequently issued again under this title. However, the information on this publication because of its scarcity is very scant indeed. The hunting and shooting is for small and big game and takes place in India, Africa and England. Contributors include; Frank Redfern, Harry Greenwood, Captain Morgan and George Bulger himself. Chapters include An Indian Summer Day (ducks), The Bontebok Flats (African antelopes and hyena etc.) and more. Most of the book appears to be bird shooting and even some fishing. Since it contains both African and Asian big game it is remarkable that it has not been listed in either bibliography by Czech. No doubt a very rare work. A remarkable condition copy; near fine in the original green blind and gilt stamped cloth.
