Add to basketBull. Hosp. Joint Dis., 17/2. - October 1956, 8°, pp.110-133, 16 Figs., orig. wrappers. Offprint! "At the Alfred I. du Pont Institute from 1941 to 1956, there were 2,662 admissions and readmissions of which 1,266, or 47.2 per cent, were congenital malformations. During the first five years of this fifteen year period, the percentage was 42 and during the last five years 52.5, or an increase of 10.5 per cent. The highest percentage was in 1955 with 62.3 and the lowest m 1942 with 30.6. This large number of congenital malformations with the recent percentage increase has stimulated not only our interest in the problem but, also, has created a desire to acquire more accurate information concerning the incidence and types of anomalies we are dealing with thus leading to this study of congenital deformities of the spine."
